Office Support Specialist - Home Health Care - 40 hours - Days

Eligable for Full Time Benefits

Hours: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Location: Home Health Care Office - St. Clair Shores

This position is located at our St. Clair Shores branch office. It offers the opportunity to provide non-clinical customer service to our patient population, along with providing administrative support to our clinical staff. You will be a part of a dynamic administrative support team that is an essential part of our success within our Home Health Care department.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

· Responsible for providing support to various departments within Henry Ford at Home.

· Responsible for the accurate and timely entry, access, review and retrieval of information from the electronic medical record.

· Responsible for monitoring workflow processes.

· Provides office support and act as a resource for team members, customers, medical staff, and other professionals.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

· Requires high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

· Associates degree or college coursework in business preferred.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

· Requires computer proficiency, the ability to accurately type, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

· Experience with Outlook preferred.

· Requires strong organization and problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt rapidly to changing priorities and tasks.

· Requires previous Home HealthCare experience or office/administrative support experience or completion of a college degree.
