Job Title: Receptionist Status: Non Exempt
Department: Deposit Operations
Reports To: Deposit Operations
Primary Purpose of the Job:
The Receptionist is responsible for directing customers that come into the Bank, sorting incoming and outgoing mail and acting as a backup to other positions within the department.

Essential Duties:
- Record Branch daily call in log
- Mail out packages for UPS, Fed-Ex, sign for deliveries of packages and keep logs
- Sort and open all incoming mail
- Greet customers and announce guests to the appropriate teams
- Review and approve High Dollar and Stop Suspect items
- Review daily exception reports and correct errors with new debit card orders
- Work as a backup to Deposit Operations/Virtual Services functions including debit card ordering, wire transfer processing, ACH processing and answering customer service/branch support calls
- Create and maintain a courteous and professional relationship with co-workers while maintaining timely and prompt daily attendance

Other Duties:
- Create and maintain procedures and documentation for the execution of the position's job functions
- Handle and prioritize multiple assignments
- Demonstrate accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness in work
- Review and improve work methods and standards to increase efficiency
- Demonstrate problem solving skills
- Backup to other staff and their daily duties
Other duties as assigned
Required Experience/Skills:
- Preferred One to two years related banking experience, preferably with Fiserv
- Knowledge of bank systems and processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously
- Analytical and organizational skills
- Good attention to detail and confident ability to make decisions
- Negotiating and networking skills
- Ability to train others and work effectively with other departments
Ability to work independently
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalency (GED)
- Specialized training in computer operating systems, Microsoft Windows/Office* *
