BAE Systems SCA Engineering Tech II (USMC ATC Systems) in Saint Inigoes, Maryland
Job Description
The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic team providing technical and engineering services to USMC Air Traffic Control Systems worldwide. Will support electronic system, component installation, integration, troubleshooting, and repair. Will develop training curriculum and materials for fleet training evolutions. Will also review, write, and update technical documentation. Will be required to work independently and as part of a small team.
This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in St. Mary's County, near to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station.
There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent and at least 4 years of experience in troubleshooting and repair of electronic equipment and components
Ability to read and understand technical documents and drawings
Ability and willingness to travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations (25%)
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Electrical or engineering training from a trade school or similar institution
Experience in maintenance, repair, restoration, test and evaluation or Air Traffic Control systems
Experience preparing and modifying engineering documents and drawings
At least 1 years of experience in Navy/Marine Corps ATC systems
Pay Information
This position is covered by a wage law called the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act (SCA). The wage range for this position is determined by the Wage and Hour Division of the Department of Labor on a contract-by-contract basis.
