SBU Description:

Meggitt Sensing Systems (MSS) is one of five SBUs of the Meggitt organization. With our headquarter facility in Fribourg Switzerland, formerly known as Vibro-Meter, (www.vibro-meter.com), MSS specializes in Sensor and Monitoring systems for the Aerospace, Energy and Measurements markets. The North American sales and technical support office for Energy products is based in Londonderry, NH with a satellite office in Montreal, QC, Canada to drive business growth in our Canadian markets.

Position Summary:

As a key member of the Energy North American (ENA) Sales team, and based in our Montreal office, the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) manages the sales in Canada to achieve assigned sales revenue targets and drive continued growth in the Region. In this capacity, the RSM owns the Canada Sales Strategy and leads the Canadian support team to manage sales opportunities from creation to post sales support.

Successful candidate will: (essential duties and responsibilities)

  • Drive sales growth in Canada through management of current business and opportunities, and create new opportunities within the region through developing and maintaining business relationships with strategic and target customers in the Region.

  • Develops and manages the Regional Sales Strategy in support of the ENA Sales Strategy and aligned with the Product Management strategy and overall MSS Strategy, to drive revenue growth in Canada.

  • Develops an in-depth knowledge of our Energy Products and Service to provide Meggitt Capability presentations to customers and generate comprehensive proposals to address target opportunities.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Significant experience in a technical sales environment and preferably with direct sales experience; ideally in an Energy Market.

  • Experience in managing complex sales opportunities with demonstrated experience in the analysis of customer requirements, and development of a strategy to address these requirements.

  • Demonstrated multi-lingual capability in at least French and English; with ability to read and write in both languages fluently.

  • Ideal candidates will possess a Technical Degree with specific knowledge in Asset Management through Vibration monitoring and analysis.

  • Expected travel is approximately 30 - 35%, primarily in Quebec and Ontario providences.
