Insight Global Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivable Specialist in Saint Louis, Missouri
Job Description
Our client, a premier data center service provider of cloud, colocation, managed services and DR, is looking for a motivated Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable/Cash Apps Specialists to join their finance team. This person will be responsible for supporting 2 groups: the cash applications/accounts receivable and the accounts payable group. They split of support with be dependent on the flow of demand needed by the teams at any given time. In regard to cash apps/AR work: This team is responsible for all efforts around Cash flow tracking from point of entry to posting including accurate client association, researching to know where it flows next, report generation and final post. This person would help post all cash entries including: ACH, Wires, Lockbox, Credit Cards, Misc. items, Direct Debits. They will also spend time on client engagement/customer service for accounts in relation to cash flow intake which includes fielding questions via phone, email or ticket, working on request for credit cards or requests for ePayment updates as well as additional issues as needed. This person may also help prepare daily and weekly cash trending reports as well as performing cash month-end close processes. In regard to accounts payable the person will be working within DataServ and Great Plains for invoicing processes and they will be trained on both systems. They will only be responsible for the NON PO invoicing on the AP team, as another team member handles the PO invoices. They will assist with the AP inquires mailbox and review/respond to emails daily to assist with those inquires which are typically around if a payment has been made and if so a request for the check information.

Skills and Requirements
A/P skillset:
Strong attention to detail to minimize human error with data entry
Ability to manage the AP inquiries mailbox and track down if checks have been paid and their associated details
Ability to learn new platforms and systems (Great Plains is their ERP and DataServ is there cloud AP software)
Ability to do data analysis, reconciliations and assist with misc. projects
Cash Applications & A/R skillset:
Experience working within Cash Apps or A/R and A/P from a billing and invoicing perspective
Growth mindset that drives a desire to learn new skills and various ways to execute tasks within their role in the finance industry
Experience with Excel creating reports utilizing formulas like vlookups, xlookups and pivot tables (Not just data entry)
Strong customer service and ability to work with end users to resolve issues directly or through proper escalation
Ability to work with the team to meet daily deadline cut off for cash postings (Example: Noon daily cutoff to expert AR post) Experience working in Great Plains or DataServ null
