Wells Fargo Lead Project Manager | COO Change Delivery | Wholesale Operations in SAINT LOUIS, Missouri

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Project Manager responsible for leading a transformation program within Wholesale operations. This position is an individual contributor with an opportunity to guide and lead Project Managers within the team.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex initiatives managing all activities in a project life-cycle such as initiation, planning, executing, controlling, risk/impediment/dependencies management and closing associated with projects that are long-term and cross functional with broad impact, scope and complexity

  • Act as key participant in large-scale project planning and capacity management for change delivery

  • Review, analyze and initiate complex multi-faceted enterprise support operations, organizational systems knowledge and navigation to anticipate change impacts that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors

  • Ensure full understanding of project impacts that translate into comprehensive engagement strategies

  • Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations, demonstrating ownership of the entire process from beginning to end while developing and implementing program and project level processes, procedures and performance metrics

  • Demonstrate understanding of policy, methodology and artifact creation that influence and lead change management to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives

  • Strategically collaborate and consult with stakeholders, project leads, mid-level to senior managers sponsors and business partners to clarify and define project requirements and achieve goals

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Project Management and Methodologies, Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience and a proven ability to drive transformation/change initiatives across a wide range of functions

  • Direct experience working within financial services industry, specifically in Corporate and Investment Banking, Markets or Institutional Operations.

  • Knowledge and understanding of audit, regulatory compliance, risk management and control automation

  • Prior experience leading across global team and guiding junior project managers

  • Ability to operate effectively in a geographically and functional dispersed organization

  • Ability to gain consensus and agreement across disparate functions, stakeholders, and technologists

  • Knowledge and understanding of product or program management: development of roadmaps, strategies, and management of products ranging from concepts in ideation through to market delivery

  • Experience managing projects in a large enterprise environment

  • Experience with Agile delivery

  • Experience communicating in both written and verbal formats with senior executive-level leaders

  • Ability to present results of analyses and recommendations to senior leaders

  • Must be able to quickly create concise, informative executive summaries for stakeholders that convey a well-developed "story" and advocate for a well-reasoned point of view.

  • Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management

  • Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals

  • A self-starter with ability to independently manage work and drive multiple deliverables concurrently.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$96,600.00 - $171,800.00
