Job Overview
Position Schedule: Full-Time
Maintain a safe and secure environment by assisting in the development and implementation of the firm's security plan, to include:
Development, leadership, management, and fulfillment of area associates. Actively participates in self-development.
Lead part of the branch security program; conduct investigations, document reported crimes & incidents, provide consulting services to protect the branch and home offices, recover assets and act as liaison with local, state and federal law enforcement.
Act as a Global Security Services representative to the firm's Workplace Violence Risk Assessment & Mitigation team; develop risk reduction strategies and actively lead emergency responses to incidents.
Provide expertise in security related matters at all levels of the firm.
Expense management, including; contracted services and capital expenditures.
Oversight of vendor contract relationships; development of standards, objectives and performance measurement.
Preparation of dashboards and reports for trending and analysis of data to keep the organization formed, improve performance and ensure efficient use of resources.
Authorized to carry a handgun to safeguard persons on Edward Jones premises from workplace violence.

The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate:
Hiring Minimum: $81750
Hiring Maximum: $139194
Skills/Requirements
BS/BA degree in Criminal Justice or a related field, certification or advanced degree preferred
3 years of supervisory experience preferred
10 years of law enforcement experience to include investigative experience in a law enforcement organization with increasing levels of responsibility
Valid Security Officer License, or equivalent as determined by applicable law and be authorized to carry a concealed firearm
Valid driver's license
