Robert Half Payroll Manager in Saint Louis, Missouri
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Manager in the retail industry, based in SAINT LOUIS, Missouri. In this role, you will be tasked with the efficient and accurate processing of payroll for multiple regions, including the US and Canada. You will also be expected to manage payroll reporting, tax reporting reviews, and garnishment management. The work week includes on-site days with a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently process payroll for both US and Canadian regions
• Handle weekly, monthly, and quarterly payroll reporting tasks
• Conduct tax reporting reviews as part of the payroll process
• Manage garnishment procedures and ensure compliance
• Utilize UKG for payroll processing and reporting
• Collaborate with the team for the smooth operation of accounting functions
• Administer 401k - RRSP and other benefit functions
• Leverage skills in Microsoft Excel for payroll-related tasks
• Audit payroll process and data for accuracy and compliance
• Utilize 'About Time' and other Accounting Software Systems as needed
• Manage multistate payroll processing and ensure adherence to regulations
• Be prepared to manage day-to-day payroll tasks and operations. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a payroll management role within the retail industry
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with 401k - RRSP Administration
• Familiarity with 'About Time' software
• Solid understanding of general Accounting Functions
• Proven experience in Auditing
• Expertise in managing Benefit Functions
• Proficiency in UKG Pro and UKG Ready
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Proven ability to Process Payroll accurately and efficiently
• Experience with Multistate Payroll
• Knowledge of Canadian Payroll regulations and procedures
