Key Responsibilities:

As a

Senior Project Manager, you will lead projects from inception through completion, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will collaborate with teams both internally and externally to deliver quality electrical solutions for industrial clients.

  • Project Coordination and Management: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including selecting materials, coordinating procurement, and ensuring timely distribution and return of tools and materials. You'll manage all phases of the project, ensuring cost controls and scope compliance.
  • Cost and Budget Management: Track project costs, report variances, and forecast financials. Ensure the project meets estimated costs and margins. Conduct regular cost-to-estimate evaluations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Team Leadership and Supervision: Manage and mentor field personnel, conducting regular site meetings and inspections. Ensure work is completed to project specifications and safety standards.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Oversee project documentation, including daily logs, reports, and invoices. Ensure all records are maintained according to company standards and all required submittals (shop drawings, cut sheets, permits, etc.) are accurate and timely.
  • Client Relations and Issue Resolution: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, resolving concerns and maintaining strong relationships. Respond to and resolve client complaints professionally and effectively.
  • Safety Management: Participate in routine jobsite safety huddles and walkthroughs. Ensure that all team members adhere to safety protocols and that any jobsite incidents are investigated and addressed.
  • Estimating and Value Engineering: Estimate project costs and recommend value-engineering option for cost-effective solutions. Review and approve change orders.
  • Continual Improvement: Stay current with industry trends, technology, and best practices to continuously improve project delivery.

Qualifications:

Education:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Systems Design, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.

Experience:

10+ years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a preference for experience in industrial or renewable energy projects.
