Job Overview

Position Schedule: Full-Time

In the Practice Management Department makes it easy for branch teams to run and grow their business.

The SR Strategist is a role on the Practice Management Strategy & Alignment team. Working in a highly matrixed team, this role is responsible for the strategic alignment and measurement of PM resources to support the experience and needs of branch teams and Markets.. The role specializes in problem solving, using data & insights from multiple stakeholders to develop solution-based strategies and influencing key stakeholders across the firm to drive business outcomes. The PMSA Senior Strategist leads complex and overarching topics and informally develops and leads others.

Skills/Requirements

  • Holds a valid Series 7 and 66 license

  • Demonstrated success as a strategist in areas of high complexity using systems thinking, planning and organizing, relationship building, collaboration, critical thinking, project management.

  • Strong analytical, strategic planning and execution skills to drive prioritization of strategies using multiple sources of information

  • Ability to solve highly complex and non-routine problems using proven critical thinking skills.

  • Industry financial services knowledge that informs strategic perspective

  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills with the ability to provide concise, relevant market commentary, and explain complex concepts directly to key stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial openness and ability to explore new possibilities and different approaches to issues.

  • Industry financial services knowledge that informs strategic perspective (relevant trends driving the financial services industry and adjacent industries, understanding of key competitors, etc.)

  • Firm knowledge preferred (understanding of firm decision-making processes; relationships with strategy decision-makers including ELT, OC, and business segment leaders)

  • Strategy knowledge required (best practice frameworks)
