Job Description

Our client, one of the largest U.S. based manufacturing companies, is looking for 1 Senior DevSecOps Engineer and 1 Mid-Level DevSecOps Engineer to join their Security team. They will be responsible helping address the out of date pipeline issues, introduce infrastructure as code and introduce an easy way for continuous vulnerability applications scanning. They will be integrating security practices into their software development life cycle. They will design, implement, and maintain DevSecOps pipelines using Python, YAML, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and other tools and work closely with the other developers, testers, and security teams to ensure their code is secure, compliant, and scalable. They will be performing code reviews, vulnerability scans, and security audits on the codebase and infrastructure. They will work as a team to identify and remediate security risks, issues, and incidents in a timely manner and develop security policies, standards, and best practices across their projects and teams. They will both be collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet their business and security requirements. The Senior Engineer will be also mentoring other developers with writing secure code as well as teaching the IT organization modern practices and deployments.

Skills and Requirements

3+ years of experience in DevSecOps or DevOps (Ex. Experience implementing a break point in the devops pipeline that does a code scan, implementing a cube, etc.)

Experience creating a CICD pipeline utilizing tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar DevOps platforms

Cloud Experience (They will be migrating to Azure)

Experience with either Python, C# or .NET programming languages

Familiarity with a vulnerability compliance tool such as SonarQube, AppInsights, Twistlock, etc.

Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Ability to Mentor/Teach other developers and assist with writing secure code as well as teaching modern practices and deployments (Senior role only)

Experience with packaging and distribution of software applications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience Experience with Infrastructure as code (IAC)

Experience creating packaging for MSIX and App attach for Azure virtual desktop

YAML, bash, PowerShell, and JSON

Familiarity with Microsoft technology stack such as .NET, SQL Server, Azure, etc.

Knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices such as OWASP, NIST, ISO, etc.

Experience with security tools and technologies such as SAST, DAST, IAST, RASP, WAF, SIEM, etc. null
