Robert Half Tax Director in Saint Louis, Missouri
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the industry for a Tax Director. The position is based in SAINT LOUIS, Missouri, and provides the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for coordinating with internal teams and external partners to manage complex tax-related issues.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure the timely completion of consolidated tax returns
• Understanding and managing consolidated tax returns, providing assistance with international tax issues related to debt
• Ensuring accurate calculations for international debt "gross up" and providing necessary support for any challenges arising from other countries related to debt calculations
• Contributing to tax reviews, managing transfer pricing, sales, and use tax procedures
• Providing necessary data support and guidance to the team when required
• Using specific tax software for tasks and providing leadership within the team
• Managing external teams, dealing with international tax issues
• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary
• Processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently
• Maintaining accurate customer credit records. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax
• Knowledgeable in ASC 740, Compliance, Domestic Tax, and International Tax Compliance
• Experience with Consolidated Tax Return and Sales Tax
• Skilled in preparing Sales Tax Returns
• Familiarity with Vertex Sales & Use Tax
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA or other relevant certification is preferred.
