YWCA of St Paul Employment Case Manager in Saint Paul, Minnesota
Work with participants, developing Employment Plans by identifying SMART goals, defining strategies to overcome barriers unique to the whole family and African American lived experiences Engage participants to advance adult education and career goals by assisting participants with coordination of services, accessing employment training opportunities, educational advancement, and assisting with basic support services including housing, transportation, and childcare Engage and meet with participants regularly in person or through virtual meetings. Support participants need through phone calls, testing, emailing and mail Documenting all interactions in Workforce One, maintaining compliance with due dates Lead MFIP compliance with due dates and outreach for Employment Plans Administer assessments to identify participants interests, needs, and skills Assist participants with building professional skills and work experiences; resumes and applications Proactive awareness of employment opportunities to ensure job placement and retention as possible Serve as an advocate with knowledge of referral sources for clients in need of domestic violence screening and assessment, mental health & chemical health counseling, and crisis intervention services Provide a welcoming and supportive environment by building safe and supportive relationships; utilizing a strength-based approach; affirming diversity through pursuing racial justice, gender equity, and cultural understanding Represent YWCA by building and maintaining relationships with community organizations, public service initiatives, Ramsey County, educational systems, health care providers, and employers to ensure effective coordination of services Work in partnership with collateral contacts to support in the goal planning of participants
