POSITION MISSION STATEMENT The Statewide Partnerships Manager leads operations and strategy for the Community Affiliates Program (CAP). The Foundation s Community Affiliates Program is comprised of 13 local community affiliate foundations and over 200 related funds with assets totaling about $40 million. The Statewide Partnerships Manager also participates in resource development, donor engagement, and stewardship activities across Minnesota, with a focus on Greater Minnesota. ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT The Philanthropic Services team is the driving force behind growing and supporting our network of Minnesota philanthropists. Made up of experts from a variety of sectors, this energetic team works with individuals, organizations and financial and legal advisors to help them make a difference in Minnesota communities. The team provides a range of services from estate planning support to the latest online tools for managing and tracking individual giving and access to resources that help others be effective in their giving. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and Lead Community Affiliates Program (CAP) operations and strategy: -Staff oversight and management of CAP staff -Serve as chief strategist and manager for the CAP and associated funds of the Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation -Lead day-to-day operations of CAP through supervision of Philanthropic Services Administrative Assistant and approved Affiliate staff. -Serve as relationship manager for all CAP volunteers and funds, including local community affiliate foundation advisory boards and funds and related donor and nonprofit funds -Provide guidance and training to local community affiliates in the areas of board engagement, grantmaking, fund development, and marketing/communications -Help in gift planning with donors associated with the CAP, in partnership with staff and volunteers of the programs -Serve as point of contact for questions regarding invoices, expenses, donor portal functionality and fund statements. -Develop program-wide learning and development opportunities for CAP participants and partners across the state -Serve as primary spokesperson for the Foundation and represent the Foundation at key community events, convenings and affiliate board meetings across the state -Plan, coordinate and execute statewide convenings for executive leadership to grow and amplify statewide presence. Statewide Partnerships Operations and Strategy: -Responsible for Greater Minnesota gift planning and resource development activities while actively supporting those similar activities across the state -Responsible for relationship management activities for a portfolio of funds with a particular focus on Greater Minnesota strategies -Actively engaged in prospect development activities across Minnesota -Maintain a meaningful presence in the community with a particular focus in Greater Minnesota -Participate and help nonprofit fund management and resource development activities -Develop and deliver presentations and educational opportunities for fundholders and prospective fundholders across Minnesota
