Insight Global Utilities Field Engineer in Saint Paul, Minnesota
Job Description
A utilities client is looking to bring on a field engineer to support the field directly. This individual will provide their expertise to new facilities and existing facilities, which includes planning, design, and cost estimating for projects. This individual will also provide input to engineering, construction, field and planning teams to ensure the design and installation is up to industry standards. They will assist with developing project scope documents for budgeting purposes. They will evaluate proposals and bids and make recommendations for purchasing of materials and services, as well as manage the engineering component of these services. They will assist in commissioning efforts for their projects and support permit applications and environmental clearances.
(Pay Rate ($35-45/hr)

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors degree in engineering: Mechanical, Chemical, Civil or Electrical
Field engineering experience with a utilities background
Experience using Microsoft Office applications
Microsoft Project
Experience using Bluebeam
Strong technical writing ability
Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time PE License null
