Aerotek Material Handler Day Shift 20-25HRLY in Salem, Oregon

Job Title: Material Handler with Inventory Management Software Experience.

Job Description

The Material Handler plays a crucial role in our manufacturing process by ensuring that materials are accurately counted, managed, and distributed. This position supports our inventory management system and is essential for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing lines. Candidates must have experience with different Inventory Management Software as well as comfortable with 5S Principles. Starting pay is 20-25$HR depending on experience. Those interested should have good demonstration of work tenure and at least (1-2) Professional Work References.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct inbound inspections, unpackaging, PO matching, counting, labeling, and accurate put-away.

  • Perform daily Kanban replenishment and initiate reorders.

  • Pick, stage, and deliver items to production; expedite as needed.

  • Conduct cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepancies.

  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas (5S).

  • Handle discrepant materials (RTV, RTS, rework, scrap).

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment (scales, carts, pallet jack, forklift).

  • Assist other departments to ensure material availability.

  • Backup for shipping/receiving tasks.
