Randstad in Roanoke, Va is partnering with a local nonprofit agency to bring a seasoned Grant Accounting Associate on board. This position is responsible for the accurate and timely accounting and reporting of all government and private grants. The successful candidate will have 1-2 years of related grant accounting experience in a fast-paced non-proft environment as well as an Associates degree (Bachelor's degree preferred but not required), and demonstrated experience gathering documentation to support state and financial audits. Responsibilities
Demonstrate professional demeanor in interaction with staff and government officials; stays informed and consistently practices the policies and procedures of the company, possess knowledge of company programs. Responsible for functions related to grants accounting/auditing, grant tracking and grant budget preparation.
