Heart Of The Rockies Regional Medical Center Certified Athletic Trainer in Salida, Colorado
POSITION: Certified Athletic Trainer
DUTIES: 1. Performs the duties per the Athletic Training Scope of Practice, including but not limited to: 2. Responsible for Athletic Training Services to area high schools as assigned. 3. Provide Athletic Training coverage in person for all home athletic contests at assigned schools as scheduling allows and coordinate coverage with school districts athletic directors. Should a conflict arise between sport schedules, the athletic trainer will determine most appropriate coverage. Additional coverage as assigned by Athletic Training Coordinator and /or Clinic Manager 4. Provide Athletic Training services to junior high students as needed 5. Development and implementation of the HRRMC Concussion Policy at area schools 6. Provide Concussion Education to area schools, coaching staffs, student athletes, parents and area medical professionals 7.This position is exempt and will require travel to sporting events.

REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree with a major in athletic training from an accredited athletic training program completed the minimum required hours of supervised clinical experience or internship in athletic training * Applicants must have passed Board Certification exam.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid Driver s License
- All offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a negative drug screen test*, criminal background check, reference checks, and infection prevention procedures: TB test, Flu Shot, immunization records, and acknowledgement of policies.
WAGE: $23.04 to $33.03/ hour

SHIFTS: This position is PRN: on call as needed.
