Job Title: Die Setter

Job Description

As a Die Setter, you will focus on the proper setup of mold changes and take on processor duties. Your role will include hoist operation to pull and set large molds, performing material handling, troubleshooting backside setup duties, and installing hot runner cables. Additionally, you will load robot programs, verify processes according to setup checklists, ensure cell layout accuracy, and complete setup checklists. You will also be responsible for purging new materials in preparation for startup, performing simple startups under the direction of a Process Technician, and conducting mold changes as instructed by Shift Managers or Leads. Responsibilities also include ensuring all components and materials from previous jobs are removed from the area and verifying that housekeeping is completed before press startup.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Saline, Michigan.

Manufacturing Environment: Technicians work in a manufacturing facility with potential exposure to noise, heat, and dust. Shift Work: The facility operates on multiple shifts to maximize production output, requiring evening, night, or weekend shifts.
