Production Operator - Salisbury, MD
Position Summary
Tends machines such as saws, draw benches, spinning machines, vapor de-greasers and furnaces that cut, stretch, shape, anneal and clean tubes by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
- Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces.
- Assists machine operators to set up machine, and stack, mark, pack, and transport finished work pieces.

``` - Communicate to management and peers regarding quality, preventative maintenance, customer focus and equipment issues, concerns and improvement initiatives. - Participate in Continuous Improvement Initiatives and support a flexible team environment that best suits all PTC initiatives.

``` - Assist with identifying and implementing process improvement. - Follow work instructions and procedures.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent, previous manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.

- They are frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
