Hexagon Agility Communications Manager in SALISBURY, North Carolina

Hexagon Agility is a leading global provider of clean fuel solutions for commercial gas vehicles and gas transportation solutions. Product offerings include natural gas storage and delivery systems, Type 4 composite natural gas cylinders, propane, and natural gas fuel systems. These products transport clean gaseous fuels and enable vehicles to reduce emissions.

Hexagon Agility has production facilities in Salisbury, NC; Lincoln, NE; Realto, CA; and Kassel, Germany. We also have offices in Costa Mesa, CA and Oslo, Norway.

About the Communications Manager role

The role of Communications Manager is responsible for a broad scope of activities including initiating, planning, and executing internal and external communication activities to further build and strengthen Hexagon Agility’s profile in our target markets.

Our new Communications Manager will report to the SVP Communications. The role is an integrated part of the Marketing Communications team and will be based primarily out of our Salisbury, NC office. A hybrid working arrangement is possible. Some travel is required.

Your responsibilities

  • Editor-in-chief for website, intranet, and social media channels (www.hexagonagility.com)

  • Brand management

  • External and internal communications; media relations, internal communications

  • Produce press releases, case studies, presentation material, speaking points, briefs and other information for various external and internal channels

  • Coordinate, plan and drive various projects and general communications tasks globally

  • Monitor, report, follow up and leverage relevant media coverage to support management updates and media relations

  • Support crisis communication preparedness and management

  • Follow up with and manage various external service providers

Qualifications

  • Relevant education, minimum bachelor’s degree in media, communication, marketing, or other relevant fields

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in communications

  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud or similar applications is a plus

  • Strong visual communication skills

  • Strong writing skills (English)
