Full Stack Web Developer

Salt Lake City, Utah

As a Full Stack Web Developer, you'll play a vital role in the design, development, and maintenance of our website for both new and existing products. You'll work closely with our experienced team, contributing to various aspects of our tech stack and gaining valuable hands-on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the architecture, design, and development of applications and web interfaces.

  • Assist in creating and maintaining our strategic roadmap in collaboration with IT and Senior Leadership.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to understand website requirements and business processes.

  • Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code following best practices.

  • Participate in development projects from concept to execution.

  • Assist in ensuring timely and high-quality application releases.

  • Assist in server setup and configuration, API coding, database querying, and more.

  • Build responsive and modern web applications, implementing best practices.

  • Assist in maintaining system design and architectural documentation.

  • Support the prototyping of new functionality for proof of concepts.

Qualifications We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience (optional).

  • At least 5 years of experience in full-stack web development.

  • Experience building responsive web pages using CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.

  • Familiarity with TypeScript, NodeJS, Next.js, React, SCSS, PHP and SQL is a plus.

  • Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server is a plus.

  • Exposure to cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

  • Exposure to infrastructure as code tools such as Docker, Terraform, and Ansible is a plus.

  • Knowledge of building APIs and integration frameworks.

  • Exposure to testing methodologies (unit tests, integration tests, functional tests, end-to-end tests, acceptance testing, and performance testing) is a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and security.
