About the Team

Global Services (GS) is the part of Workday Customer Experience (CX) that is focused on the sale and delivery of Professional Services. We are a diverse team of over 2000 people, located all over the world, focused our helping customers achieve their outcomes faster and with less risk. The GS Operations and Innovation team supports our outstanding team by ensuring the smooth running of the business and by continually striving to improve everything we do.

 

About the Role

 

The GS Substrate Director will play a critical role in ensuring the Substrate program is successful. Substrate is focused on practical alignment with our vibrant ecosystem of partners to ensure we have the right blend oof projects between Workday and partners and that the partners are motivated and well prepared to sell and deliver Professional Services on Workday products.

In addition, from time-to-time you will need to support some other programs. Some of these will be established, operational activities that measure partner performance, while others are brand new and will require you to think creatively to craft and implement successfully.

You will need to be highly organized, passionate about delivering incredible outcomes for your stakeholders and be able to think broadly, as well as have excellent attention to detail. You will need to be highly collaborative and work cross-functionally inside Workday as well as across the partner ecosystem.

This role will be varied, exciting and will provide interesting challenges for the person who loves to work in a fast-paced, high quality environment and derives satisfaction from achieving amazing outcomes.

 

About You

 

Basic Qualifications

The role requires a blended mix of business skills, partner management and desire to support the overall ecosystem to ensure Workday success.

  • At least 10 years in a customer- or partner-facing services role (consulting or account management) that includes successful execution of large programs
  • At least 5 years of program management experience in complex environments.
  • Experience of managing relationships with large enterprises, preferably Professional Services partners.
  • Experience of working with large System Integrators and Consulting organizations
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Knowledge of multiple areas related to business software deployments: Workday deployment is a plus

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location: USA.IL.Chicago

 

Primary Location Base Pay Range: $146,600 USD - $219,800 USD

 

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $132,600 USD - $246,000 USD
