ARUP LABORATORIES Medical Laboratory Scientist II (PERM) in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah
ARUP Laboratories in Salt Lake City, Utah is hiring for full-time Medical Laboratory Scientist II (NYQ), 2 openings. In the immunologic flow lab, will perform high complexity flow cytometric testing. Validates and releases patient results through in-depth knowledge of techniques, principles, and instruments. Assesses plausibility of laboratory results through correlation of data with common physiological conditions. Consults on questions regarding testing. Operates, maintains, and performs troubleshooting of BD FACSLyric and BD FACSDuet Sample Preparation Systems. Identifies, accepts, and facilitates the resolution of problems. Updates Standard Operating Procedures as needed. Trains students and staff. Performs preventative maintenance of instruments and equipment. Requires Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or in the chemical or biological sciences, and ASCP or AAB certification as MLS or MT.
