ARUP LABORATORIES Medical Laboratory Scientist II (PERM) in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah
ARUP Laboratories in Salt Lake City, Utah is hiring for full-time Medical Laboratory Scientist II, 1 opening. In the Sequencing, Infectious Disease laboratory, the MLS II performs testing methodologies including Sanger and Next Generation Sequencing for infectious diseases. Will use instrument platforms such as Janus, Chemagic, Maxwell, Hamilton Starlet, Thermal Cycler, Light Bench, Ion Torrent Suite, QuantStudio and 3730 sequencer. Participates in preparing specimens for testing, performing, and documenting quality assurance, quality control, confirming and verifying results through in-depth knowledge of techniques, principles, and instruments. Requires Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or in the chemical or biological sciences; and ASCP or AAB certification as MLS or MT.
