JOB SUMMARY:

This custodial position is the evening event shift. Working both independently and with a team, you will help clean the Delta Center during a wide variety of events including concerts, Utah Jazz games, & Utah Hockey games.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Disinfecting restrooms and high traffic areas throughout events including door handles, counters, tables, chairs, handrails, etc.

• Pick up and haul trash

• Mop, sweep, and assist in control of sanitation throughout the building

• Keep the custodial closets and storage area neat and tidy

• Perform all custodial duties as assigned

• Operate with an emphasis on safety for employees, teams, and guests

• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• 1 year of custodial experience preferred

• Basic math skills required (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

• Experience working in fast-paced environment

• Flexible schedule to work weekends and holidays as needed

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally

• This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate, and assess

• This person must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time

• This person must be able to lift 20 lbs
