The Departments oncologic services lines are looking for an Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/PA) who is a patient focused, self-motivated provider who has the ability to work effectively in an academic team environment. Our APCs are an important member of our team and work collaboratively with the team physicians. In addition to working in a world class institution with excellent benefits, there is ongoing education, practice standards guided by evidence-based research, and opportunities for project and research involvement.Job Summary:The Department of Surgery, in collaboration with the Huntsman Cancer Hospital Oncology surgeons group, located primarily at the Huntsman Cancer Hospital, is seeking advanced practice clinicians to join the team. These APCs will function as nighttime hospitalists providing inpatient care for the Department of Surgerys admitted cancer patients. The APC will have responsibilities for preliminary nighttime patient assessments, triage of questions and care requests from nursing, communication with the primary team, initial review of new surgical consults in collaboration with the admitting attending surgeon.
