Nexeo Staffing Senior Actuarial Associate in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah
Nexeo is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Actuarial Associate to join our team. As a Senior Actuarial Associate,you will play a pivotal role in directing and overseeing the development and maintenance of crucial data,analyses,tools,reports,and rating structures necessary to support our diverse range of products and services. Your expertise will guide business decisions and ensure compliance with state filing requirements.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of product rating structures for both new and existing offerings,in accordance with internal and external standards.
Coordinate and oversee the certification process for rates and compliance,ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines.
Analyze and report on claims experience and trends,facilitating informed decision-making and risk assessment.
Develop and maintain financial statement reserves,contingent liabilities,and other critical financial metrics.
Provide support for internal and external audits,ensuring transparency and accuracy in reporting.
Drive the development and analysis of budget projection inputs,aiding in strategic planning and resource allocation.
Mentor junior staff members and provide expertise on complex actuarial challenges.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in mathematics,statistics,computer science,economics,or finance from an accredited institution.
ASA certification with a minimum of eight years of relevant actuarial experience,or FSA certification with a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in word processing,spreadsheets,and databases.
Proficiency in analytic software such as SQL or SAS.
Pay
$67.14 Per Hour
