UnitedHealth Group Senior Clinical Administrative Coordinator - Remote in Utah OR Idaho in Salt Lake City, Utah

This position is full time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

We offer 2-3 weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be based on schedule or will be discussed on your first day of employment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Employee would be assigned to a campaign on a weekly basis where they will verify eligibility for each member before they make a call to schedule a visit. Once verified they will call to make an appointment at the earliest convenience. The employee will work to schedule all members on their assigned list, with a new list assigned weekly.

  • Primarily a call center role.

  • Resolve inquiries from members

  • Making calls to Utah and Idaho members to schedule wellness visits with Optum providers at community centers and/or our Optum mobile unit

  • Help call on campaigns for other departments and screening visits.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 18 years or older

  • 2+ years experience analyzing and solving customer problems

  • 1+ years in call center required

  • Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with health care insurance

  • Experience in a hospital, physician's office or medical clinic setting

  • Clerical or administrative support background or experience working in a call center environment

  • Experience working with Medicare and/or Medicaid Services

  • 1+ years of experience working in the health care industry

  • knowledge of medical terminology

Telecommuting Requirements:

  • Reside within Utah OR Idaho

  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)

  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy.

  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.
