Job Description:

L3Harris is hiring for a Software Engineer in the Test Engineering organization to develop automated tests for product testing.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop automated test

  • Familiar with NI TestStand and LabVIEW programming language

  • Work closely with hardware and system engineers in Test Engineering team

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • An ABET (EAC/CAC) accredited Bachelor's with a year of experience in an Engineering discipline (preferably Software Engineering) experience

  • Understanding of engineering process and design concepts along with an understanding of the engineering practices and procedures required to develop, test and deploy test systems

  • Presentation and communication skills (verbal/written/visual)

  • Effective problem solving skills and the ability to meet critical deadlines

  • Demonstrated experience with planning and effectively coordinating projects

  • Experience with LabVIEW and TestStand development

  • Understanding of software practices and L3Harris programs and products

  • Have analytical, project management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail

  • Excellent computer skills with a strong proficiency in Windows interface, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Microsoft Project

  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
