Robert Half Benefits Account Manager in San Antonio, Texas

Description

We are seeking a Benefits Administrator based in San Antonio, Texas. The chosen candidate will be responsible for maintaining relationships between clients and various insurance companies, as well as handling a range of administrative tasks, including client communication, data management, and policy administration. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless benefits support for the client.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the main point of contact for client support, managing and maintaining the relationships between clients and various insurance companies. Providing support for Medical, Dental, Vision, STD/LTD benefits.

• Communicate proactively with clients and their employees, providing excellent customer service by acknowledging and responding in a timely manner.

• Handle employee enrollments and terminations and assist with other clients when needed.

• Request, reconcile, and confirm receipt of monthly invoices.

• Review, prepare, and request benefit quotes, formal request for proposal “RFP” and annual renewals.

• Obtain and maintain current service forms, brochures, and flyers from various insurance companies.

• Prepare, edit, and review insurance analysis, as well as update PowerPoint presentations.

• Create, update, and maintain client databases/census and computer file folders.

• Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, CRM platform and secure email for all activities.

• Respect, secure, and protect confidential information, including H.I.P.A.A information.

Requirements

• Must demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Expected to be well-versed with various Benefit Functions - Medical, Dental, Vision, Life

• Familiarity with Cobra Administration is essential

• Should be able to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies

• Must have prior experience in Benefits Administration

• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required

• Must have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Proven track record in a similar role is preferred

• Must have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Ability to interpret and explain benefits policy to employees and staff.
