The Payments, Virtual Solutions, and Innovation (PVSI) team includes Operations, Consumer Credit Card, Retail Services, Consumer Deposits, the Innovation Group, Treasury Management, Merchant Services and Wells Fargo Virtual Channels and the professional services teams that partner with these businesses. PVSI's focus is on delivering the next generation of payments and deposit capabilities and advancing our digital and online offerings to design new customer experiences and products. Wells Fargo Virtual Channels (WFVC) is part of the Payments, Virtual Solutions and Innovation (PVSI) business division. WFVC serves consumer and small business customers through digital (online, mobile, and social) and contact centers (phone, email, and correspondence). We provide customers with convenient ways to manage their accounts, enable digital payments, provide solutions that meet their financial needs, and more. WFVC serves over 27 million customers through our digital channels and support over 5.8 billion customer interactions annually through digital and contact centers.

The Strategy and Business Support team for the Customer Authentication and Identity Management (CA/IDM) organization is seeking a Digital Consultant 4 that will work as a part of a team to support the CA/IDM organization by providing subject matter expertise and line of business coordination support for internal audits, exams and compliance activity review and testing activities involving CA/IDM processes and programs.

As a Digital Consultant 4 you will ensure that operational and other documented processes and procedures are in alignment with the various program initiatives, policy and guidance. In addition, this role will support and coordinate business processes and efforts to document as required for successful completion of internal audits, external exams, and any additional controls or business process reviews.

Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the tracking and monitoring actions for remediation efforts associated with any regulatory or audit reviews.

  • Acting as a liaison to internal and external partners as it relates to the CA/IDM teams and functions which includes review and implementation of documentation to support service levels, operating agreements and partner processes.

  • Provide support and subject matter expertise towards the development, implementation and management of the CA/IDM Risk Review process.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing, implementing and monitoring processes for Customer Authentication and Identity Management channels and be able to assess and mitigate regulatory, policy or reputational related risks for a business that needs to maintain compliance and balance between risk mitigation and operational efficiency; hands-on experience with policy initiation, review and implementation, or other risk management processes. This is a fast paced, dynamic and quickly changing work environment where priorities or focus may need to shift frequently. This role will require a self-starter with a demonstrated ability to: adapt to a changing environment; analyze and simplify complex information; communicate effectively to various audiences, including senior management; influence stakeholders in a collaborative environment without direct organizational authority; make decisions in the face of uncertainty; build strong relationships with team members as well as key business partners; and compile, analyze, and interpret data and reporting.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: digital customer experience, digital product/program management, digital platforms, or digital consulting

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a large enterprise environment

  • Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change

  • Ability to motivate staff to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

  • Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of financial services industry: compliance, risk management, or audit operations

  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives

  • Experience communicating and presenting complex information to multiple levels of the organization

  • Knowledge and understanding of Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Internal Loss Data (ILD), and Shared Risk Platform (SHRP)

  • Ability to effectively assess stakeholder, partner, or client needs while consulting, building solutions, and developing processes

  • Experience with business risk management
