ENTRUST Solutions Group Field Manager in San Antonio, Texas

Description

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee and manage telecom field operations, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecom infrastructure such as fiber optics, wireless networks, and small cell installations.

  • Lead, supervise, and mentor field technicians and contractors. Assign work, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients during field operations. Provide regular updates on project status, address any concerns, and ensure that client expectations are met.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, allocate resources, and coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely completion of projects.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure all work is performed according to company standards, industry regulations, and project specifications. Address any issues related to workmanship or equipment.

  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations. Conduct regular safety meetings, site audits, and incident investigations when necessary

  • Manage project budgets and expenses, approve invoices, and track labor and material costs. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality or safety.

  • Prepare and present detailed reports on project progress, field team performance, budget status, and other key metrics to the Regional Operations Manager and other stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. Relevant certifications in telecommunications or project management are a plus or a Minimum of 5 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role. Experience managing telecom field teams is required.

  • Proficient in telecommunications systems, including fiber optics, wireless, DAS, and small cell networks. Familiarity with construction methods, electrical systems, pole attachments and safety standards in the telecom sector.

  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and telecom safety best practices. Ability to identify and mitigate safety risks on job sites.

  • Willingness to travel to various project sites as needed.
