Job Title: Industrial Plant Facilities- HVAC Technician $30/hr+
Job Description
As an industrial plant facilities technician, your role will involve the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems:
You will leverage your knowledge of refrigeration theory, electrical schematics, pneumatics and electronic control systems, pipe fitting, welding/brazing, and mechanical layouts.
You will be responsible for servicing HVAC equipment and performing repairs, overhauls, and start-ups of industrial HVAC systems.
Your role will also involve mastering the refrigeration and heating cycles , understanding electron theory, mastering the fundamentals of temperature and humidity measurement and control in air conditioning units, and having a comprehensive understanding of all types of HVAC systems.
MUST HAVE:
EPA certifications, EPA Universal
Experience with large ton units
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in San Antonio, Texas.
Work Environment
The work environment is a manufacturing setting which can be noisy at times. You will need steel toes, safety glasses, and long pants with no holes or tears.
Standard day shift hours.
Must be comfortable being on call, working weekends, and/or holidays.
