Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description
The candidate will manage new model projects to ensure the equipment meets the design specifications, production needs, and installation requirements. Responsibilities include coordinating with production on equipment failures and leading countermeasures for issues to be fixed. The role also involves documenting all issues, leading the Operational Readiness (OR) ramp-up activity after the new model Start of Production (SOP), and managing the Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and daily Corrective Maintenance (CM) activities to ensure the production OR ramp-up meets Performance Criteria (PC) targets. Additionally, the candidate will lead the Obsolete Robot Installation Project, ensuring it is conducted safely and on schedule, and train team and production members on new model equipment and complex systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Cross-functional understanding of Manufacturing Environment
Project management experience
MS Office - Excel
Must have high business ethics.
Excellent Communication skills
Preferred:
3 to 5 years Automotive Manufacturing experience
Experience in Maintenance, Paint
Experience with PLC, Mechanical equipment and Electrical control

This is a fully on-site position in San Antonio, Texas.
Work Environment
