Sr. Procurement Contract Administrator

Job Description

The Sr. Procurement Contract Administrator will be serving as the primary point of contact for internal and external customers regarding the procurement of supplies and materials for our client and its subsidiaries. They will manage contracts, ensure contract compliance, and address contract issues. They will manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process and all associated activities relating to supplies, materials, and equipment purchases. They will also be accountable for the development, implementation, and management of 'best practices' standard terms and conditions as part of the purchase order template and will commit to and abide by the character of our client's Core Values of Accountability, Stewardship, Pioneer, Integrity, Respect, and Excellence (ASPIRE). They will support, communicate, and reinforce the mission and vision of the enterprise and provide world-class customer service by capturing and being responsive to the voice of the customer through multiple feedback channels to resolve issues and drive satisfaction in accordance with the BBG customer engagement, feedback, and complaint processes.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (a bachelors degree is required for this role, you cannot be eligible for the role without a bachelors degree)

  • 7+ years of purchasing (procurement) experience (this is required for the position, it is not a plus, it is required)

  • 3+ years of contract experience (managing, developing, administration of) (this is required for the position, it is not a plus, it is required)

  • Experience navigating ERP systems (ERPs are an enterprise resource planning tool, it is what you would've used in your last role)

  • Working knowledge of contractual agreement language, standard contracting & bidding procedures, contract development and management, terms & conditions, and general procurement procedures

  • Working knowledge of contract tracking & management systems

  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel

Soft Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Excellent negotiation and facilitation skills

  • Professional interaction with internal and external customers by phone, email, and in person

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in San Antonio, Texas.

Work Environment

In-office role. M-F 8am-5pm role.
