Job Title: Quality Assurance Assistant

Job Description

Manage supplier quality activities for new product introduction and existing products with suppliers. This includes effective project management, coordination, and deployment of resources. Monitor, analyze, report, and effectively use quality data to increase customer satisfaction and reduce risk. Drive root cause analyses and problem-solving using Quality Management System processes, LEAN methodology, and statistical tools. Lead and manage supplier quality issues and corrective actions. Support the facility with follow-up to supplier corrective actions. Present supplier quality performance data to leadership to support business needs. Lead assigned supplier quality teams through mentorship, communication, and project management to execute PPAP, SCAR, and cost reduction initiatives. Conduct audits, evaluate performance, develop action plans, and provide recommendations for improving performance at suppliers.
