Aerotek VC-25B Structures Mechanic in San Antonio, Texas

VC-25B Structures Mechanic

Job Description:

  • Maintain and repair aircraft components including but not limited to: flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components

  • Perform close tolerance drilling, reaming, removal, and installation to critical support structures and fracture critical areas

  • Perform efforts associated with sealing, painting, shimming, and preserving structure in accordance with standard repair processes

  • Use of tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot level modification and repair of structural parts

  • Requires broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repairs

  • Responsible for providing guidance and technical expertise to lower level technicians throughout all aircraft modifications and/or maintenance efforts

Pay:

  • $35/hr-$40/hr

  • Per diem available for those who qualify

Shift:

  • Flexible to work either 1st or 2nd shift, based on business needs

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience working as an aircraft structures mechanic experience

  • Willing and able to work any shift

  • FAA certification in Airframe and/or Power Plant license is preferred
