Aerotek VC-25B Structures Mechanic in San Antonio, Texas
VC-25B Structures Mechanic
Job Description:
Maintain and repair aircraft components including but not limited to: flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components
Perform close tolerance drilling, reaming, removal, and installation to critical support structures and fracture critical areas
Perform efforts associated with sealing, painting, shimming, and preserving structure in accordance with standard repair processes
Use of tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot level modification and repair of structural parts
Requires broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repairs
Responsible for providing guidance and technical expertise to lower level technicians throughout all aircraft modifications and/or maintenance efforts
Pay:
$35/hr-$40/hr
Per diem available for those who qualify
Shift:
- Flexible to work either 1st or 2nd shift, based on business needs
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience working as an aircraft structures mechanic experience
Willing and able to work any shift
FAA certification in Airframe and/or Power Plant license is preferred
