Role: Executive Account Specialist

Section Title: Position Summary

Position Summary

Sells products and/or services to customers through a variety of mediums and acts as point of contact post-sale, focusing on ongoing customer satisfaction, retention, and growing the business. Maintains relationships with accounts through ongoing client contact and support. Closes sales within territory, defined by geographic area, industry, or product/service group. Responds to client inquiries and offers bold recommendations on appropriate products and services. Must work with a sense of urgency to execute sales strategy, generate sales reports, and identify opportunities to increase sales volume while ensuring service levels are met. May work in tandem with outside sales team to achieve sales goals and revenue targets.

• Contacts both new and existing customers to sell new and recurring business

• Creates and delivers quotes and proposals to deliver to customers

• Ensures customer satisfaction and retention

• Accurately records information in CRM for forecasting

• Continues to stay up to date on company and customer technology to remain a trusted partner

• Mentors and develops less senior Account Specialists; expected to assist and lead others on critical/complex sales

• Completes the most complex sales to the company's most important customers; utilizes superior knowledge of products / services and industry to evaluate & recommend best solutions to customers

• Regularly demonstrates collaborative selling behaviors; mature base of accounts and/or highest level of revenue responsibility

• Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

FORMAL EDUCATION:

Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent

10+ years of experience

Preferred:

BA/BS preferred

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

• Strong communication skills

• Intra-departmental communication for purpose of alignment/information sharing

• Demonstrates a Mastery level understanding of sales techniques & sales process

• Advanced knowledge of Evoqua products and solutions

• Demonstrates strong ability to identify and cultivate sales from new and/or existing customers

• Ability to act independently

• Demonstrates a high level of influence on product/service and selling strategy

• Ability to assist and lead others on critical/complex sales

• Basic understanding of ERP and CRM systems

• Fluency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 10%

Compensation Range: $120,000 - $130,000 Total Target Compensation Annually

$105,000.00 - $189,000.00
