Actalent Quality Assurance Supervisor in San Clemente, California
We are working with a booming flavor manufacturing company in South OC that is expanding their team. We are s eeking an eager QA Supervisor that is looking to take the next step in their leadership journey.
Job Description:
Manage team of 4 Quality Assurance team members - lead trainings and responsible for performance management for QA staff
Update HACCP, SOP, and QA programs and procedures
Assist in preparation and execution BRC, customer and internal audits
Analyze data to prepare quality reports on products and processes
Maintain food safety and quality standards for processing raw materials into finished goods
Communicate issues with on-hold and non-conforming products to the QA Manager.
Ensure team follows GMP guidelines
Maintain quality management systems
Prepare samples for shipment and maintain sample storage.
Responsible for tasting flavors to ensure within spec
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma with 5+ years of QA experience and at least 1 year of QA Supervisor experience
Associates degree or Bachelors degree with at least 3+ years of QA experience in food or beverage manufacturing and at least 1 year of QA Supervisor experience
Strong communication skills with colleagues, management, vendors, and customers
