Description
Our highly regarded client is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their dynamic team. We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Specialist to interface directly with the customers, perform billing, and handle cash applications with follow-through on any collection issues. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
Responsibilities:
Prepare, verify, and process invoices for sales or services rendered.
Follow up on, collect, and allocate payments.
Carry out billing, collection, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.
Perform account reconciliations.
Maintain customer files and records to have up-to-date customer information.
Assist with month-end closing and audit support.
Requirements
Associates degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
1-3 years of experience in accounts receivable role.
Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel, and accounting software.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
