Aerotek Assembly Operator in San Diego, California
Aerotek is hiring Mechanical Assemblers for an Electronics company in Miramar, CA . Candidates must have at least 1 year of mechanical assembly. This position will require an on-site interview. Please read the job description below before applying!
Overview:
Located: Miramar, CA
Pay: $20
Monday - Friday: 2:15pm - 10:00pm
OT can vary 1-2 hours throughout the week or when meeting deadlines
Job Summary:
The Assembly Operator utilizes a variety of hand/power tools to perform advanced assembly operations of complex assemblies in accordance with quality/ quantity
standards; trains employees in basic & complex operations.
Perform all work in accordance with Standard work outline
Assemble car locks daily dependent on hour by hour schedule
Navigate through kits provided to assemble each build
Follows Specification of inspections as noted
Dimensionally checks and tests production to insure assembled output meets requirements per AQL standards
Utilizes properly calibrated precision measuring instruments such as calipers, depth gages, thread gages, pin gages, and other measuring tools.
Performs operator maintenance & operational checks on all departmental tools & equipment.
The Assembler-I segregates and periodically disposes of scrap / recycled material into approved collection containers.
Qualifications:
1 year of experience doing assembly (prefer mechanical) - must have
Experience using basic hand tools- must have
Must be able to stand for 8 hours
Good communications skills and attention to detailare required for this position
Ability to follow S.O.P’s and work safely
Ability to read and write to comply with written instructions and complete departmental paperwork
