Rock West Composites, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Maintenance Technician-Janitor. Rock West Composites, Inc. is an engineering and manufacturing company dedicated to providing innovative solutions for commercial and government customers. This position is located in our San Diego, location and reports to the General Manager. Position Summary: The Facilities Maintenance Tech-Janitor will be responsible for assisting with a variety of facilities maintenance projects. Essential Functions:
- Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, cleaning bathroom, vacuuming, wiping counters and mirrors, etc.
- Clean and disinfect common areas and high traffic touch points
- Assist and maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming environment
- Do garden/yard upkeep by mowing lawn, collecting trash etc.
- Empty and remove trash bins
- Respond to facility and cleaning emergencies as needed
Basic Qualifications and Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Manual dexterity and physical stamina
- Eligible candidate must be: U.S. citizen, U.S. national, a person lawfully admitted for permanent residency
