Aerotek Industrial Maintenance Technician in San Diego, California

Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for rebuilding, repairing, and replacing various electrical and mechanical systems including electrical equipment, parts, fuses, wiring, machines, HMI, relays, electronic controls, printers, scales, and alarm systems. You will conduct periodic preventative maintenance which includes electrical and mechanical inspections, disassembly/reassembly of subsystems, lubrication, and testing. Additionally, you will manage work orders, read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and manuals, and utilize PLC ladder logic. You will also maintain daily, weekly, and monthly records and work order systems, adhere to plant safety guidelines, environmental regulations, GMPs, and the Maintenance Food Safety Program. This role requires you to operate equipment, perform sanitation and housekeeping duties, and train line associates on assigned equipment. You will initiate activities to ensure high quality products are provided efficiently and will implement Continuous Improvement ideas using a team approach.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 520 Hour(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in San Diego, California.

Work Environment
