About the CG Business Operations Team:
Business Operations plays a critical role in driving and transforming how we connect across the Intuit ecosystem and operate within the Consumer Group (CG) to achieve Taxes Done for Everyone, supported by an AI-driven expert platform. The Business Operations team aims to:
Connect Strategy to Execution - Connects external trends and business strategies with our priorities to steer teams focusing on the most impactful work
Execute with Rigor - Applies the appropriate program management and business operations methodologies, tools, and skills to develop a detailed work plan, instill an environment of rigor and drive end-to-end execution
Enable Scale and Velocity - Drives continuous improvement by leveraging best practices, developing repeatable frameworks and building capabilities in others
Lead Change - Builds strong trust-based teams, develops thoughtful change strategy and exhibits extreme ownership to effectively lead, coach and influence a cross-functional team
Solve Business Problems - Quickly ramps up to build expertise in new areas and uses a structured approach to solve complex customer problems and business challenges. Develops recommendations to shape organizational strategy, enhance operating systems, build business processes and improve business efficiency
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Shape and manage the CG’s operating rhythm and planning processes
Partner with platform leaders to influence operating and planning
Partner with CG’s senior leaders to jointly problem solve and develop solutions to complex business problems
Provide focused analytical support to leaders responsible for operational improvements, ensuring execution is set up for success and managed rigorously
Learn from internal and external best practices and work with business leaders to implement and scale them across CG
What you'll bring
12+ years’ experience including roles in business operations, program management, management consulting, or strategy in a large matrixed environment
Experience driving large complex programs in coordination with a variety of cross-functional leaders
Strong organization, communications, and presentation skills
Ability to synthesize various points of view into a cohesive narrative and build a presentation for senior leaders
High attention to detail, strong project management background, and proven ability to work successfully in a cross-functional environment
How you will lead
Partner with the sponsors and accountable leaders to shape and drive an initiative-level strategy, defining and ensuring the end-to-end experience outcomes and overall initiative input and outcome goals (strategic, customer, financial)
Build and lead a high-performance business operations team, including providing coaching and support to help the team business operations craft skills to drive business impact across CG as they grow at Intuit
Shape strategy, drive execution, and constantly push your initiative forward, ensuring it is on the desired trajectory
Work across cross-functional mission team to enable work, set pace, and surface blockers that need resolution or escalation
Act as the source of truth on progress and impact, formalizing leading indicators and key milestones, working across Biz Ops teams to report on progress and ensure consistent status roll up and metrics
Surface opportunities and risks, outline data-driven strategic decisions, and frame actionable product recommendations. Partner with cross-functional leaders to successfully implement recommendations and be jointly accountable for outcomes
Build and maintain strong relationships across the Intuit and CG leadership team to ensure that we are thinking holistically across multiple business segments and functions in the context of driving growth
Design operating models and rhythms to enable effective decision making and information flow
Run and facilitate business reviews and planning meetings to improve the way we work together
