Description

We are seeking a dedicated and analytical Network Engineer to join the team. The ideal Network Engineer will be able to deploy, configure, maintain network systems, and work proactively to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.

• Design, implement, manage, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including routers, switches, wireless access points, and network cabling.

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high levels of performance, reliability, and system availability.

• Perform network address assignments, manage IP protocol, and ensure efficient use of data.

• Conduct regular network performance tests and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Implement security tools, protocols, and measures to protect system data.

• Develop and maintain disaster recovery solutions.

• Collaborate with network architects and IT management to enhance network performance and security.

• Develop and document network processes and procedures.

• Provide Level-3 support and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or Network Administrator.

• Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of infrastructure.

• Professional certification (e.g., CCNP, CCDP) is a plus.

• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.

• Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network devices.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

• Availability for on-call network support outside of normal business hours.
