Intuit Principal Sourcing Operations Program Manager in San Diego, California

Overview

We are seeking a Principal Program Manager, Sourcing Transformation and Analytics to join our high-impact Supplier Performance Center of Excellence. In this critical role, you will drive efforts to revolutionize third-party sourcing operations and unlock new levels of value creation across our multi-billion dollar supplier ecosystem.

You will lead a matrixed team in the design and deployment of cutting-edge digital solutions and lean process enhancements. These innovations will accelerate the sourcing lifecycle, mitigate maverick spend, and deliver an unparalleled user experience. Your mission is to challenge the status quo, break operational silos, and transform sourcing into a competitive differentiator that allows us to consistently deliver world-class outcomes.

We need an analytical and creative change agent who thrives when empowering high-performance teams to push boundaries. As part of your role, you will utilize design thinking, agile methodologies, and advanced analytics to transform our approach to engaging suppliers and driving internal operations. Success will be measured by improvements in cycle times, costs, user satisfaction, and bottom-line impact.

What you'll bring

  • Experience streamlining processes in sourcing, procurement, supply chain functions.

  • 10+ years of sourcing, procurement, supply chain experience.

  • Experience with ERP and Source-to-Pay tools/P2P applications (Coupa or Oracle).

  • Experience developing and/or presenting business cases.

  • Experience leading multiple simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proven track record of analyzing complex data and developing insights to drive change.

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams through project management and providing executive updates.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and solid financial and/or quantitative modeling.

  • Comfort with written and verbal communication of quantitative and qualitative information with executives.

Specialized knowledge (Preferred):

  • Experience with continuous improvement or Lean Six Sigma approaches and methodologies.

  • Experience in key sourcing areas such as: Technology, Services, Marketing.

  • Experience with automation tools or leading projects to automate processes.

  • Experience with advanced analytics tools such as Python or SQL preferred.

  • Experience building and deploying service catalogs in Coupa or Ariba.

How you will lead

  • Drive transformative impact by identifying innovative approaches to optimize sourcing operations and executing change management to enable adoption.

  • Leverage data and insights to develop strategic plans that enhance operational efficiency, effectiveness, and employee experience.

  • Lead diagnostics to baseline as-is state across sourcing processes, technology, and organization. Synthesize findings into recommendations.

  • Champion automation and emerging technologies to accelerate sourcing velocity and amplify team productivity.

  • Architect best-in-class sourcing frameworks, systems, and guided buying experiences that unlock value.

  • Research external best practices and develop business cases to justify investments in change initiatives.

  • Partner with Sourcing teams to understand needs and co-create solutions that scale impact.

  • Manage programs end-to-end, tracking metrics to ensure benefits realization.

  • Continuously evaluate resourcing models and identify opportunities to leverage managed services.

  • Maintain existing solutions while identifying process gaps and developing mitigation strategies.

Data and Analytics:

  • Analyze and interpret data related to procurement activities including market analysis, supplier performance, and spend analysis.

  • Identify purchasing patterns, opportunities for cost savings, and process improvements through in-depth data analysis.

  • Provide actionable insights and data-driven recommendations to procurement teams and management to support strategic decision making.

  • Communicate complex data insights clearly and effectively to non-technical audiences.

  • Support the organization's procurement strategy and objectives through data-driven analysis and recommendations.

  • Develop and monitor key procurement metrics and KPIs to identify trends, risks, and performance against goals.

  • Maintain a strong understanding of the organization's procurement processes, suppliers, and spend categories.

  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve data collection, integrity, and analysis capabilities for procurement.

  • Stay current on developments in data analytics tools and techniques relevant to procurement and supply chain management.

  • Ability to translate data into compelling visualizations and actionable business insights.
