Girl Scouts San Diego Product Program Associate in San Diego, California

The Girl Scouts Cookie Program is the largest girl-led entrepreneurial program in the world! Each year thousands of girls participate in the annual program to build their entrepreneurial abilities, financial literacy and leadership skills. As a Product Program Associate, you will have the opportunity to assist our Girl Scouts in reaching and exceeding their cookie goals in a fun, exciting, and memorable environment.

  • Ability to work 25 hours a week as assigned during the hours of 7 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and weekends as assigned during January 20 - March 14, 2025.

  • Train girls and parents/guardians on all aspects of the program, including safety guidelines, participant responsibilities and booth policies.

  • Provide superior customer service (friendly, professional, and timely) to volunteers, parents, girls, staff and customers at all times.

  • Promote and motivate participation in the cookie program and relay information that is consistent with program guidelines and mission.

  • Participate in program events and meetings in which the cookie program will be represented.

  • Effectively use program inventory systems (i.e. eBudde) to coordinate and manage cookie inventory (orders, distribution, and transfers).

  • Collect, review and process payments and final paperwork.

  • Provide general administrative support to the product sales team to include, but not limited to, scheduling meeting reservations, overseeing print jobs, assisting in the Cookie Cupboard, and managing the packing and distribution of materials for volunteers.

  • Performs other duties, as assigned.

  • High school graduate

  • Bilingual - English/Spanish is a plus.

  • Ability to work a non-traditional, flexible schedule that provides excellent availability and support to girls and families.

  • Familiarity with Girl Scouts San Diego product sales strongly preferred.

  • Effective communication, presentation, math, and computer skills

  • Strong planning, organization, and follow-through skills with high attention to detail and accuracy required.

  • Demonstrates strong proficiency in MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, and Excel)

  • Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking skills and troubleshoot problems.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

  • Ability to exercise good judgment.

This position is expected to begin December 12, 2024 and end March 19, 2025.

The pay rate for this position is $18.00 per hour.
