Accenture SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Consultant* in San Diego, California

This role will have connection to Accenture’s SAP practice. In our SAP practice, we bring the New to life using design thinking, agile development methodologies, and the latest smart tech like IoT, automation, and AI.

You’re as comfortable leading projects as you are diving into the details of workstreams and configuring SAP solutions. And you possess the communication and people skills to inspire teams to bring their A-game.

​Participates in sales cycle activities including scoping, building, and delivering software demonstrations.

The Work:

  • Participates in sales cycle activities including scoping, building, and delivering software demonstrations bringing in-depth SAP Plant Maintenance Solutions and process knowledge (including industry best practices).

  • Leads fit/gap and other types of working sessions to understand needs driven by business process requirements.

  • Translating requirements into solutions, using SAP Best Practices or Accenture Solutions as a baseline.

  • Work in conjunction with Accenture project manager to establish the overall plan for their respective workstream.

  • Work in conjunction with data migration personnel to lead the customer thru the data mapping process.

  • Creates functional specifications for development objects.

  • Conducts unit testing on overall solution including technical objects.

  • Supports integration testing and user acceptance testing with customer.

  • Explores new SAP applications as a subject matter expert and may be first adopter for emerging SAP technologies.

  • Enforce the core competencies and professional standards of Accenture in all client engagements.

    Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements

Here’s What You Need:

  • Minimum of three (3) years previous experience implementing Plant Maintenance (PM) in an S/4 Hana environment

  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in all areas of SAP Plant Maintenance (inspection, maintenance, and repair)

  • Minimum two (2) full lifecycle SAP implementations, with a minimum of one (1) previous global system implementation

  • Previous experience supporting PM Fit Gap workshops

  • Must have previous experience building trusted partnerships with clients / customers, provide guidance through complex functional and/or technical decisions

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If Associate’s Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. California $63,200 to $169,800

Colorado $63,200 to $146,700

District of Columbia $67,300 to $156,200

New York $58,500 to $169,800

Maryland $58,500 to $135,800

Washington $67,300 to $156,200
