Insight Global Senior Electrical Engineer in San Diego, California
Job Description
Our client is a global full-service engineering firm that is looking to add Sr. Electrical Engineers to their California practice.
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will act as the Firms representative in all interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and other project team members. Your role will involve designing large-scale projects, preparing reports and specifications, and providing high-level technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Offer consulting services, including due diligence reports, gap analyses, and feasibility studies.
Develop sustainable design solutions, creating concepts and detailed drawings.
Supervise the production of drawings to ensure they meet client requirements and standards.
Coordinate with the design team, owners, and contractors.
Establish design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects.
Prepare proposals and manage project contracts between firm and clients, including Add Service Agreements.
Engage in business development activities, participate in trade organizations, and prepare presentations.
Set project budgets and schedules.
Participate in the QA/QC process for completed work by staff.
Manage and review staff resources.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
8 years of experience in Electrical Engineering at a consulting firm
3 years' experience as a PM or supervisor
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
Professional Engineer (PE) in California - Experience with various building types (mission critical, life science, R&D facilities, etc.)
LEED AP accreditation null
